Very true!!!!! And that makes them a great destination ride, once you get there you have your own lawn chair. Going to venue of a bike race would be a great example.
Actually having 3 wheels keeps your brain active plotting the path, so that all 3 wheels miss the pothole.

The trike rider i know moans that somehow he always hits a pothole with one of the wheels.
Not sure why he has it. His other steeds are conventional bikes.

it’s possible with a bit of practice to skip one of the rear wheels over a pothole. As to why he has it… I got mine because it was a different set of skills to learn and just because it wasn’t conventional.
