Part of the joy / downfall of liking a technical sport (because cycling is more than a hobby) is the cool tools that you can convince yourself that you can't get by without.

I am currently lusting after a Wera Tool-check. I don't really need one, but it looks so damned cool! If I keep watching this video I'll convince myself that I DO need one. Fortunately my wife is a reliable wallet safety valve.

There are really nice tools, good quality and with a stylish design.
I used to be a mechanic and I am used to SnapOn, Mac and Cornwell tools, these tools are as good quality as SnapOn with an even better feel in the hand but with out the lifetime guarantee.
The only grip is the handles of the screwdrivers feel a bit cheap and the there were no cone spanners or T-bar allen keys.

I've just built my tool kit up as I needed parts. I everything I need now other than cone spanners. My latest additions where a crown race tool and headset press. I like doing my own work.

Best investments where my bike stand and torque wrench.

Which torque wrench did you go for?

We have a tool kit for general but it seems entirely reasonable to me that I build up a cycle only tool kit
