Cycling UK have finally reviewed the above. It comes out fairly well, but as others have observed, if the rim on one's wheel is over 3.3mm wide, there's a fit problem with the Glyder. So, in what I would have expected to be an obvious consideration, if you have rims evem 0.1mm wider, you'll have a bit of an issue using the Glyder effectively and will require some effort to get a tyre off and on again. 
The reviewers advice is unless you a confident of your rim withs, don't ditch the tyre levers.
