Shouldn't that be 'are neither', not 'is neither'...?

Is there a suitable warning sign about pedants? ;)

I saw a programme about the first climb of the Old Man, is was covered live on the BBC, and in those days (60's I think), an outside broadcast required about 50 lorries of technical equipment, all of which had to be driven up there and parked (and then dragged out when it sank in the mud).

I must admit there's been times a few when I've been climbing that I've had to stop for a rest or even got off and walked - but I've never needed rescuing. Does an experienced climber come along and give you a gentle push in the small of the back. I've been assisted like this (and given assistance) to get back into the bunch on the flat or an incline but never seen it done to anyone honking (or en danseuse if you're cultured).

You're just a babe, Arch, and you can take that as a compliment both ways!

I saw it live! The prooducer was Chris Brasher and it had many of the great and the good of British mountaineering doing the stack from different angles. I recall the climbers being spat on by fulmars. Most of them will be dead by now apart from the everlasting Chris Bonnington.
