i like the camera angle, where do you mount your camera?
 
Emergency braking on a fixed can be more difficult to control than on a freewheel as you have to overcome the urge to stop pedalling in hairy situations.

I like how the camera includes my hands/brakes in shot as it lets me see my how quickly I react to hazards.

I guess Gaz's point is that she had chosen an obvious place to cross with reasonable visibility (apart from the brolly), but didn't look properly to her right.

Funny you say that...I had two incidents today...one an ambulance (This is on utube now) and the second two work colleagues hilariously jumping out in front of me in the cab road outside Waterloo...In the messroon where they found it hilariously funny I pointed out I was riding fixed and explained what would have happened if I had panicked and forgotten to stop pedaling...IE like flying over the handlebars....I did actually get an apology but I was annoyed....and I have it on camera....

Yes I guess it was hazardous but we have all been in worse situations where they bolt from god knows where...
