Well I got a call from son's youth club last night to come and pick him up as it was getting flooded

Was a nice temperature at 17° at the start of my ride in today. Was 20° by the time I got to the office. Going to be rather a warm ride home. Supposed to be about 29 or 30°

It's absolutely roasting here. It must be hotter, more stifling than any day we had in summer. I've just been for a walk/limp of about 2 miles and i'm knackered!

I forgot to mention something that I had on my mind ... Watch out for gravel on country roads after that storm!
I was up on what appeared to be 'ground zero' earlier today and there were big stretches of the stuff just where cyclists don't want it. It is amazing how much gravel torrents of water can wash out of fields and ditches. Those same roads were fine a few days ago.
