I don't know. The first two lines are true enough, maybe a bit banal. Didn't Oscar Wilde say something like you should be yourself; everyone else is taken. The next two lines in the song are nonsense, but it's a strong rhyme.

I can remember the first few lines of Macbeth although it was 37 years since I studied it. I can still remember these lyrics clearly. I think a test for good phrases is that you can remember them.
