My son is doing his Bikeability (Cycling Proficiency) today/tomorrow at Primary school.
He's been riding to and from school for a some time (on his own). Anyway, on his way home tonight, he called into my SIL's house to see their new kittens. Fortunately, he locked his bike up to the metal gate, but left his helmet and gloves on the bike. Guess what, they were gone minutes later.
Who nicks a cheap Giro helmet ? He now has my old Giro Pneumo (was a good helmet some years back) to keep him going for tomorrow - will get him a new one soon.
At least it's a lesson about not leaving anything bike related anywhere. Thank goodness someone didn't think to lift the gate and take his bike and the gate away.
