...bib-pants. It's not very large and I reckon it would be criminal to throw them away; they're Castelli and cost me £cough!

So, the question is, and this is for the clothing techies, would you use a sewing machine to restitch it, even though it's not along a line of stitching, or would you or could you use a needle and thread and if so what size needle and what sort of thread?

What say you? I know it's not the easiest material to work with?

The other half's too busy stitching me up in regards to my next night off babysitting for that Dayvo.

I had the same on my leggings after an 'off' - I cut a square bit of thin fleece off of some old redundant climbing trousers and used some of that iron on Wonderweb stuff stolen from Mrs SD's needles, cotton and other girlie stuff tin.

Stuck it on the inside (obviously?) and you wouldn't know it was there. Took me about 2 minutes to do!

I'd use a needle and thread and darn it in the same way that ladies used to darn holes in tights/stockings in the days when they were too expensive to throw away. Small sharp needle and ordinary sewing thread.
