I remember where I was the day Kennedy was shot. I was leaning out of the window of a book depository.

There was a documentary on Channel 5 recently that gave quite a convincing explanation as to who fired the fatal shot. They reckoned that it was an accidental shot from one of the bodyguards in a following car, as he fumbled with his AR15 in an attempt to locate the shooter in the book depository.
Certainly the most plausible explanation I've heard, considering the way the CIA acted afterwards and the way evidence disappeared later.
Interesting stuff. I wonder if the truth will ever come out?

They don't deny that Oswald shot JFK, just that the fatal head shot wasn't one of his.

I'm the biggest cynic around, believe me.
All I am saying is, that in the 54 years since I remember the shooting, this is probably the most plausible explanation I've heard.
Doesn't mean I necessarily agree with all of it, but it's certainly more possible than the Oswald lone shooter explanation.
For example, did you know that the 1st and 3rd shots fired (the ones that actually hit JFK) were different calibres?
As I said, I'm doubtful the truth will ever emerge in my lifetime.

What I have never understood was the Oswald was behind the car, yet when the shot appears to come from in front of the car.

How do you know thats actually true?

I don't, anymore than you actually know that Oswald fired the fatal shot.
