They do vouchers to collect for cheap family holidays, my colleague and her family use these to go to Haven caravan sites every year otherwise the kids wouldn't get a holiday.
Agreed. I dont come into cafe for that kind of vitriol. If It were a common feature, id be leaving CC pretty damn quick. There's a place for this bile and Cafe isn't it. Differing opinions are natural...but in the right place please. This isn't the area for this thread. This should be in cad. This is an area that is lighthearted and rather tongue in cheek. Perhaps if you have it moved there you will get a better response. Then again perhaps not.
I used to read the sun many many years ago., but it became so awful that I stopped buying it.
I refer the honourable gentleman to my previous replyAgreed. I was surprised how seriously the OP was taken here. But no, I have no real wish for a response, let it stay in Cafe.
I need to know what she wrote about me and ensure that she has correctly described me as the staggeringly handsome rampant stud that I am?
Can we see pictures to prove your claim to being both handsome and a rampant stud. ?
What are you going to call it. Ill make sure I look out for it. Will you autograph it for me. ?
The book I mean.
The sun definitely is a total rag but I doubt they'd ever use the term "windows lickers." a disgraceful and wholly unacceptable term which should not ever be used. Please edit your offensive post
I despise the verminous 'sun' 'newspaper' with every fibre of my being and reserve my most vitriolic scorn for the brain-washed fools of low self-esteem and poor taste who would read it if they had bothered to turn up at school but instead rely on it having pictures and having some unfortunate to read it to them.
You do realise that no comma is required before 'but'?
Yes, it was a pun. The Sun is particularly fond of them, but this one was too subtle for PaulB.The sad thing is that the Sun is in fact correct
There is no claim that it is THE Book of Revelation
In the context of this young lady's no doubt erudite prose and literary achievement it is the Book of Revelations, as I suspect she makes more than one revelation, justifying the 's' and as it is her only book, the use of "the" is also correct
I don't remember ever hearing this term before and perhaps the OP didn't know the origins of it in which case perhaps we might cut him some slack? The sun definitely is a total rag but I doubt they'd ever use the term "windows lickers." a disgraceful and wholly unacceptable term which should not ever be used. Agreed but surely now the error has been highlighted amends should be made?I don't remember ever hearing this term before and perhaps the OP didn't know the origins of it in which case perhaps we might cut him some slack?
