The rare winter species of twunt, common to the roads in summer has awaken due to the recent sunny weather, climbing their way from their subterranean hovels.

Nothing bad, but since the sun has been out the level of twuntage has risen exponentially, been beeped by corsa d!cks, punishment pass for no reason from a Renault van, teenage girls on horseback riding and texting two abreast on blind corners, been practically forced into a drainage ditch by a 4x4 pick up driver and his laughing toddler son etc. etc...

Pretty low level annoyance, but why didn't the government, instead of paying for the badger cull, reimburse me for digging the hibernating little sh!ts from their burrows and feeding them to hounds.

Tell you what Cameron, don't worry about the money, I'll get the spade out next winter for a tizer, a packet of walkers and the warm fuzzy feeling that I am doing the gene pool a favour.

That is all.

I've been noticing the signs of cyclists emerging out of hibernation, though still in the early stages. Each year there seem to be more that manage not to hibernate, and more summer ones. A joy to see (mostly though sometimes it's nice to remember the quieter times of winter).
