Things can only get better

So far this year has been a bit of a swine - But it's getting better.

Dislocated my knee on the 4th Jan.
But now its nearly better, and I can hopefully ride for the first time again.

Aged mother slipped down the steps in the ice a week later and nearly died.
She's now finally out of hospital and making a good recovery.

SWMBO has been really quite Ill, which meant I've had her to look after too.
She's getting better, and will hopefully be back to what passes for normal.

Only 26 Days to the Cheshire Cat Sportive.
Best get some miles in on my new knees PDQ

I like the bad followed by the good in your post. A good attitude always does wonders for your wellbeing.

Good to hear your Mother is making a good recovery too. It's so worrying when a parent has a bad fall like that.

Go easy on your poor knees and don't forget to take the cod liver oil with condrointin to help them out and best of luck with your training and Cheshier Cat Sportive.
