Things to do in Manchester on a Tuesday

I am in Manchester tomorrow for work, and want to do something at night other than sit in my hotel at night. Only restriction is I don't want to be on and off more than one form of transport to get there from city centre.

Buy yourself a return rail ticket from Manchester Victoria to Mytholmroyd, and bring your bike over. See how fast you can ride up the 'longest continuous gradient in England' ...

... and then see how fast you can ride back down!

Get back on the train, and return to your hotel.

If you want a decent warm-up, get the ticket to Littleborough instead and ride to Mytholmroyd via Todmorden and Hebden Bridge, then descend from Blackstone Edge directly to Littleborough. That's a 20 mile loop with a big hill in the middle.
