Me neither, but that's a consequence of not owning a car.
Not true!
You could practice on someone else's car, if you really wanted to learn.

Possibly, but for me not having to learn was just another advantage of not owing one of the things.
Curiosity on how things worked never enough to have you trying on your neighbours car then?

I'm with you: I had hearing issues so I missed swimming lessons for a year or two. By the time I was able to join in, everyone else could swim.

Nah I got pushed in aged about 9 and had to be fished out then aged about 12 I went to 'swimming club' in the summer holidays and was getting on OK until the 3rd session when my older Cousin Linda thought it was a good idea to swim between my legs and stand up with me on her shoulders, I panicked and nearly drowned both of us.................had to be 'pumped out' that time as I swallowed about half the pool.

stand still

basically I always wobble
which means that I am rubbish at things that require perfect stillness
like archery - I did it for a couple of years but could never even hit the target at more than 60m - and even then I would miss a few arrows
also not helped by my wrists which are small and have little muscle - so anything requiring wrist and hand strength are out

my eyesight is also not that good - fine with glasses but I only wore them for work until I was about 30

only realised all that in my late 30s - but it explained a lot of sports I was rubbish at
including archery( see above) tennis, and several otehr things I was pushed to try to be good at

did mean that I was not bad at badminton
and things like sailing and windsurfing where your base is constantly moving are good for me because my mind and body are used to everything moving anyway!!

anyway -just wish someone had told me when I was younger and I could have stopped trying to compete with a bloke who damn near played rugy for England and whose Dad could have played tennis at WImbledon!!
