Dragonflies and Damselflies and Butterflies and Moths.

And the smell of Lillies.

Longer daylight hours and more "eye-candy" on show.

But that is nowhere near enough compensation for the heat, stinging eyes and inabilty to breathe. Bring on winter I say!

(Disclaimner - I have hayfever and spend at least 2 months every summer unable to breathe through my nose - tried all sorts - the only remedy that worked was a drug that was banned after it was found to cause heart conditions:sad:. Also, if is too cold, I can put on more clothes, if its too hot I can only remove so much! Plus my brain melts and I cant think properly.)

EDIT: Oh and lilies are the spawn of satan - should never NEVER be allowed indoors EVER!!

Listening to those who moaned about the cold in winter moaning about the heat in summer.

Personally, I love everything about summer (apart from obese females showing off bare rolling mounds of mottled, stretched flesh )

A positive hazard though.

Based on a random sample of one cyclist, I can prove conclusively that they are the single biggest cause of cycling into inanimate objects on Putney Towpath.

running round in the garden naked and jumping through the sprinkler attached to the hose pipe!

Although I have not done that in around 20 years, the Mrs just sent me some pics of our kids doing it... and I am jealous as I'm all sweaty having just ridden 18 miles this lunch time.
