Ive lost about 2 stone since christmas (down to 13 exactly now) by doing the 5:2 diet. I still cycle regularly 30-40 miles at a time. I wanted to loose the weight to help me up the hills and it has certainly done that.
I still have a belly and would like to loose probably another stone and tone up. I find that when on the bike climbing out the saddle the muscles in my arms start to hurt.
So, I'm thinking of joining the gym. £20 a month (no swimming pool). I intend to do the following
1. regular spin classes as I've heard these help with the bike
2. running to help with the weight loss
3. small weights to help build a little muscle in my arms...
Anyone here joined a gym and actually still use it regularly??
