All very good that it is - download a missed telly programme to your PC, but it's a cheeky little file sharer !!!

Missed tonight's Dr Who, due to car shenanigans, so logged on to BBCi, and it was available soon after the program finished..... Played it back onto the telly...but............

my internet connection has been hammering the upload for the last couple of hours, as more folk want it...you forget about that down side of BBCi......... they don't host the file - you do...........

Don't get a download early, it will hammer your connection as you'll be one of a 'few nodes', rather than one of many........

being on a mac, i can't download the file (although i can if i reboot in vista), so i just watch the streamed version. seems to work fine, even on my basic broadband and basic 801.b wifi network.

Have BBCi on VM. Just as well really with the new STM rules. A lot of ISPs would agree with you about the iPlayer

I watch on my iPod Touch, on which you get a streamed version.
