9/11 was committed by Saudis. And the people we are now fighting in Afghanistan were armed by us.

We also arm Saudi Arabia. No doubt we'll arm anyone who has the money..

An interesting book is 'The Great Game' that explains the history of Britain's interest and presence in Afghanistan going back a couple of centuries. Our interest back then was primarily to secure our possession of India, however our presence seems to have had little influence on the culture of the country in all that time. I'd suggest we aren't going to change things for long this time around.

So I'd just like to say, the majority of the country are behind our troops 100% and the ones that are not do not understand what's going on out there.
