This mild spell .....

According to R4 this morning the temp dropped to 14C last night in Devon and it's expected to be 16C during the day! Its 14C here in Abingdon today.
I'm off to Istanbul tomorrow afternoon (work) and checked the temps and it's only 9C there. I've been 4 hours south of Moscow for the last week and it just scrapped -6C in the night - the same week last year we had -25C and thick snow.

I don't want to kick-off a climate debate, but it's pretty weird. Hard to imagine Christmas is less than a week away
