Bad driving by the guy in the truck, but the cyclist is a bit of a nutter in my opinion! Carrying around a batton to whack cars with? An air horn would be just as effective, if not more...

In a country where you are permitted to carry weapons for self-defence, wouldn't you want to take advantage of that? I know that attaching pepper spray to the handlebars seems to be pretty popular there.

Guy in the video overreacted a bit, though. I don't think the driver left with any idea what went wrong.

Not everyone attaches pepper spray to their handlebars. I keep mine on the seat post.

The guy on the bike clearly staged that, he pulls out the baton then goes from riding the white line to going out to the center of the lane at the pinch point. The man in the truck was half way into the other lane, giving the bike room until the bike changed lines in a pinch point.

If I were the man in the truck I would have the guy in court paying for damage to my truck.

Truck driver (red cab) was very courteous. In my view, the bike rider is the issue here. Dived between two articulated lorries and then 'attacks' another vechile. Not wise.

Staged incident maybe? The driver was way too calm; I would have had something to say about my vehicle being smacked with an asp (he didn't even get out to check for damage). And the cyclist clearly knew what was coming. After the quick altercation they both just head off along the road...... Very strange .
