So it's fake news. Must admit I was wondering how long the prank must have taken and how the pranksters managed to get the blue and white notes arranged to form the three perfect wheelchair symbols at their first attempt.
We were sitting in a cafe in Paris when a bloke pulled up in a Bugatti Veyron, parked illegally right in front of us and crossed the road to the Cartier shop, emerging a few minutes later with a small package in his hand. He drove off and a minute later a crappy old Toyota appeared and parked in the same spot; three east-European looking blokes got out and walked away. Less than a minute later the city tow away truck appeared; the driver and his mate got out, looked disappointed and proceeded to hoist the Toyota and drive away with it. We reckoned somebody had tipped them off about the Veyron and they had arrived just a couple of minutes too late to bag it, it would have made a great video for GtiJ. We didn't recognise the Veyron driver but he looked like a young rapper or footballer.
