For sale is my Thorn Club Tour Size 572S.
Reynolds 725 frame and Reynolds 531 forks.
This is a new bike and has never been used. Well except for me to test ride after assembly obviously.
No storage marks, scuffs or scratches.
It is in a lovely Sky Blue Metallic.
The sizing is:
Slope - 70.
Seat tube C2C - 502 mm.
Virtual Top Tube - 560 mm.
BB drop - 65 mm.
Seat Angle 73.
Chain stay - 445 mm.
Mid tube stand over height - 805 mm.
Top tube junction with Head tube - 840 mm.
If it helps as you see it in the pictures is how I set it up for me and I'm 5 feet 8 1/2 inches tall and the stand over height would indicate 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall. All depends how you like your frame and style of riding.
Shimano Deore group set:
Triple 48 - 36 - 26.
Long cage RD.
9 speed with an 11 - 32 cassette.
Rear wheel, 700c 36h Sun CR 18 rims with Shimano Deore XT hub.
Front wheel has a Schmidts Original Nabend dynamo hub with the same 36h rim as the rear.
Schmidt dyno head lamp either side of the front forks.
Shimano XT skewers.
700c x 38c tyres.
Drop bars with bar end shifters.
Long SKS Mudguards with rear touring frame attachments.
Frame specific touring rack.
Double front dyno lights mounted on front forks.
MKS Sylvan tour pedals.
2 bottle holders. Braze-ons for a third.
Braze on for a front rack.
Avid Shorty 6 cantilever brakes.
Cionilli Vapor Gel seat. Very comfortable from my initial thoughts.
Thorn 27.2 mm seat post.
Originally purchased in 2016 but remained boxed. I had to complete the assembly of the bike.
With this specification, the bike costs £1650. This bike has never been used.
I'm selling for £975 or near offer.
Collection only from the GL2 area of Gloucester. 10 minutes from Junction 12 of the M5.
