Should I be worried?

It does say it was blocked. And a Malwarebytes full scan has found nothing. Can I relax?

Thanks. It seems to have stopped bleating at me (those things were popping up every minute or so for ten or 15 minutes) and the computer seems to be behaving itself. I'll run a deep avast scan in a while and see if that finds anything.

i personally avoid Chrome, have you ever started your task manager then started chrome to see how many instances of chrome actually start up. Mozilla firefox every time for me.

Schedule a boot time scan
Is that more thorough than a regular deep scan? I don't reboot this computer as a rule - it just goes to sleep overnight, but is never actually switched off.

I would avoid windows 10 then as well if you think chrome is bad, Windows 10 which I upgraded to last week is a nightmare , had to remove chrome and other non essential apps which run in the background as my computer could not cope with everything .

Unless you have a fairly high spec pc i wouldn't bother with windows 10.
