Pity the Jamaican Federation have only recently agreed to recognised drug testing procedures. If it had agreed earlier we could all believe in the performance without suspicion

I really really really really really really hope he's not on illegal drugs. It would seriously tarnish the reputation of athletics for at least a decade. It'd also ruin what is the best and most sensational thing to happen in sprinting for some time.

I feel sorry for you, I really do. It must be truly awful to think that way. Anyone who knows anything about the types of drugs sprinters like Ben Johnson took know that the first thing it does is bulk up the body and gives acne. There looked to be some suspicious runners in that final but Bolt wasn't one of them. It's obvious he's natural. A natural freak like Michael Johnson, but natural all the same. I'd stake my life on it.

I think one can only be amazed at his talent and acheivements; hoping, like Melvil said, that it's not 'artificially enhanced' in any way, and give Bolt the benefit of the doubt. Ben Johnson looked 'unatural' in hindsight, but I was stunned when the Marion Jones controversy came to light.
