Dry here, may walk the pup at some point.
A mixture of plumbing and WFH today.
Currently debating a new bare grinder, I’ve already got batteries etc.

Beautiful clear skies up here, although everything not tied down is moving sideways.
Forecast says: morning outside, afternoon inside, all day nowhere near a bike.

Not much going on here. Gloomy weather helpfully dissuading me from overdoing it going out on the bike. Blood test back & all fine for CT scan on Monday, after which I'll try to get a date from the surgeon for the mitral valve op.

Meanwhile, I'll press 'go' again on the DeLonghi for another coffee. Three lessons to do in town later. Parp parp.

Definitely the best type of terrain for post large breakfast pedaling.
Went for something called the 'belly buster' in Strontian this summer then had to follow it with a 900ft climb in the 5 miles afterwards. Now I know how a cow feels when it's chewing the cud.

Morning Peeps,

Braved the trip into town this morning and not sure what all the fuss is about. Drive into the 'burbs was same as normal, the ride in the rest of the way felt pretty quiet traffic-wise and there were't even herds of Lime Bike riders to overtake. I reckon some people must have given up until the tube strike is over. Anyhow, refuelling with coffee and Scotch egg.

Weather looking a bit pants for the weekend so looks like I'll be racing rather than riding.

Morning folks,
How is everyone? Had a couple of busy days, now shirking from home and trying to sort out the aftermath. Had a meeting with my former company on Tuesday, things really are going from worse to worserester. They’d long since passed bad as you know. I think the PE firm is going to end up with one company with a turnover no bigger than any of the companies they’re merging.
Been rebuilding my old cross bike into a communter for the lad. He’s settled in Camden now and riding to Vauxhall every day, disc brakes and mudguards will make the winter a lot easier. He’s been on an old road bike with rim brakes and very tight clearance.

I think this warrants a 'who the **** are you?' type reply ^_^

Morning all. Bored 💩less as suppliers have let me down yet again. I blame brexit, everything imported from Germany and no UK stock like the old days. Luckily its my Friday so dont give a flying fig for a change. Legs still sore from last nights 10k run plus yesterdays bike commute. If anybody has any sense he will be getting dewalt grinder. Most others are weak or dont handle the hammer they get. Anyway have a nice day. Welcome back V68, thought you'd absconded elsewhere.

Afternoon
It seems that showers are the order of the day here. Went to puppy owner training this morning and it would my attempts to train Bertie to walk on the lead are going no where till he’s nearer 6 months old.
Also is quite hard to tire a Spaniel puppy out.
Might do some climbing in a bit.
