Final exam for DD1 today. Rather than go out and get hammered, she says she wants to come home and sleep. I've arranged a boiler service just above her bedroom for later today so, like it or not, a hammer will feature somewhere.

One or two adminny type jobs to attend to. Maybe a run later, definitely coffee.

Though it has been a very cold winter in northern reaches with extra extra snow, so I guess that's something to do with it. Maybe burning Russian oil related stuff has blocked the sun out. So we're not heading into a nuclear winter but a carbon winter. That would be ironic somehow.

Bright but damp with a forecast of showers all day. Mrs W has resorted to putting the heating back on as she says it’s too cold to use the downstairs loo otherwise. So it will drop Mrs W off in Pickering so she can help prepare for the hardy plants sale. Then walk Bertie followed by climbing and weights.

Got an email this morning saying I had won The Pools, quite exciting until I read it and saw it was £50 for a 'near miss'. Not sure whether to be happy or not about that.

In the office and today is my Friday, yay. Tomorrow will be either MTB'ing or sim racing with a mate depending on the weather.

Brightish start but the predicted showers have started. Was thinking of doing the local 10mile TT this evening, but maybe not if it's raining!

much warmer than earlier, really didn't need heavy coat i chose to wear

had to schlep to mayfair to pick up mrs s's watch after having its seals replaced, now back to mr h's for bubbly and snack while cooling down, i am eschewing avocados in favour of smoked salmon

Pooch strolled through the nature reserve where a full on coat was required. Now chilling with a coffee and doing some stuff which is classed as work.
Later may be the gym, but may also be getting dinner ready for an earlyish night.

Shirking from home after a visit to the dentist for a broken tooth. Wallet significantly lighter now.
I went to a drinking establishment the other night, old style pub hiding behind Teddington high street and they had quite a collection of drinks related paraphernalia including this that made me think of SG for obvious reasons
