He’s in a different time zone. Or so he says…
I’ve just got up early
Anyways, off out on site to fettle some bits and a run tonight. I should also pick up some timber and insulation whilst doing my rounds.

On the train way too early, I even got the train before the one I normally catch. Still, means a bit of peace in the office until the lazy brigade show up.

Out for steak and vino tonight with my cousin and her OH, should be a good laugh.

Stunning day. Shopping and Café in the sticks jolly today.

Sh*t chucked at fan: solicitors in 10th year of father's Will still not sorted. Formal complaint entered.

Morning. Day #6 of work.
Left earlier than usual to drop wifelette at Station. Miraculously the traffic wasn't there. Might do the early thang more often.
Mugs so far:
Tea: x2
Coffee: x1 (soon to be more)
Snoozes: Zero

Oh and my father was a Dickensian character, so absolutely.

Evolution means no treats or brekkie. And he knows what he's done - he's not bothered to suck up.

He'll learn. He gets a treat after a mouse or rat and will come straight to me. If he catches a bird, he doesn't. He even brought a flat Stanley mouse which must have been peeled off the road, plonked it down, trilled and looked at me for a treat. I did, so as to remain consistent. God loves a tryer.

Today I shall mowstly be rattling

Everything and all of them were being rattled around like peas inside an enormous rattle that was being rattled by a mad giant who refused to stop.

Delivery due of loadsa yellow rattle plug plants, part of The Plan to combat the barsteward couch grass infestation and to encourage a rewilding patch. Dry and sunny today, some wetness due over weekend, good timings for getting the wee ones started off. The Project continues...

Afternoon
Started out sunny and warm but chilled right off when I went for a ride. Got pretty cold at times but persevered and got 72 miles done. Not allowed any of the Red recovery drink as Mrs W has put us both on a get healthy regim.

Nice mostly-sunny 50-mile +1000m ride on the leccy bike for my last ride of this stay before tomorrow's return (bike, train, train, plane, bus, bike). Floors swept & washed, bathroom done, putting stuff away this evening, leaving 6.45 in the morning. Only three weeks before I'm back, all being well.

The Moustache used just 2/3 of the battery, so am happy with that, all things considered. Though if I were in normal form, the ride would have taken me three hours and no battery at all. Ho hum, needs must.
