agree, it's really impressive, but the overall look isn't my taste either, plus it makes for a really deep body

the reverso one is prettier, plus the other side isn't skeletonized...

Man wins the Lottery. Whilst down at the pub celebrating, he comes to the decisions that he would like a new watch, a fancy one. Something special.
"Go to London someone suggests..." then another says "No, you need to go to Switzerland. They make the best watches."
So he books himself flight to Geneva and looks in the windows of the watch shops immediately after arrival.
One shop displays watches but no prices. He wanders in and peruses them. The very polite gentleman behind the counter pulls out a few.
"This one..." he states "...is very very special. It's accurate to 1/100th of a second per annum and is waterproof to 100m"
The lottery bloke asks the price. He's told something iro £40k sterling, depending on service.
He looks at another even more exotic and is told that it is more accurate than the other, is waterproof to 250m, has bullet proof glass and costs around £60k.
"...and what about this one?"
"Oh well sir, this is very special. This is accurate to 1/1000th of a second per decade and has a 50 year guarantee. It's bullet proof, titanium backed and waterproof to 500m".
Lottery bloke buys the £100,000 watch, flies home and all the way there, does not look at his watch once. He decides he will wait till the 10 O'clock news.
So he sits there on his new leather couch in his over sized house in front of his UHD 180" screen telly, surrounded by his kids.
Bong! goes the initial 10 o'clock news broadcast and he slides his cuff back to see the time on his watch. The watch says 9.55. He turns to his son, smacks him on the head and says "Have you been mucking with the telly again?"

Mmmmm just spotted the passenger side wheel of my car. The current wife has apologised and offered to pay for the repair from our joint account

when no one is looking, pull out all their tubes, or smother them with a pillow
He'd need nurse Lucy to get active, shirley. Oh and in FA's favourite part of the dUK, no shared bed space wards in the local main hospital, all separate rooms. Shocking eh?

Busy day of greenhouse contents upscaling, e.g. toms and cucumbers now in their final big pots. Warm in there. Pls let my blight disinfection regime prove successful.

Need to restock the freezer with those choc ices...

Evening folks,
Busy day with minimal shirking unfortunately, at least I was at home. Managed a wobble before beer last night which was good,a touch fresh out though. Out for more beer and a ruby shortly, 6 of us from my old work, but only 2 left there now, which will be 1 next month. 6 months ago we all worked there. It’s going down pretty fast.
sorry to hear you’re locked up PN69, I’ve not be on here much so haven’t kept abreast of things. Hope you escape soon. How’s your recovery going ’loon?

Slowly slowly, as I was told it would be. But still better than the alternative.
Get signed off the watch list on some things, e.g. dietician happy with stable weight and eating habits, now off those high cal and nutrients supplements, so no further reviews, unless... Elsewhere one's body doesn't necessarily heal itself the right way after all those sepsis effects, so had an unblock the urethra tubing op 5 weeks back, still plastic tubed up for a few more weeks until the follow up but the issue seems to be resolved 🤞
And Onwards...

It won't be difficult round my way. We're going to include at least one trek up the North Downs Ridge which is 20%+, plus a trek up the South face of Toys Hill which a real will sapper. That, plus a half time pint and pastie for ballast.

Apparently some his Strava data has rides around the 100k mark with about 50m of vertical, so the experience will be good for him 🙂

Just be careful that he’s not riding 100K in 2 and half hours as he’ll be at bottom of the hill before you’ve even clipped in.😉

Oh FFS! I was moved to a different ward. A downgrade if you ask me but so, so worth it to get away from the shout man in pain.
Imagine my utter horror as 30 mins later the very same was wheeled in to a bed opposite me!! His cries are deafening. Almost feel sorry for him if he wasn't such an ass earlier.
