Morning

Not exactly 'sunny' but mild nonetheless.
Will pass Fort 'Loon on the way to the Orthodontist bloke (again) with Tricky.

Monday: car failed MOT on n/s track rod end 12.50pm. Nothing else. Ordered 2 new one's straight away and was told they would be here by 2.15. I said I might pick them a bit later as I have grass to cut. Cut grass. Jacked the car up and took the old ends off (the one that failed had a tiny hole in the rubber, no play). Picked up track rod ends, fitted them. Drove the car back to the MOT place to book re-test. Booked in for 12 Tuesday. Steering was off despite marking everything to old settings. Local tyre guy that does it for me was off sick after eating a dodgy kebab. Tuesday first thing, got some fishing line, some heavy weights, a tape measure and a micrometeor and did the front wheel alignment myself - just as a stop fix whilst tyre bloke recovers. Went to MOT place, he glanced at it and passed it. Had long chat with MOT bloke about the state of the world and the price of running a car.
Texted tyre bloke yesterday to say what I did and remind him that Doner probably contains ground sheep's testicles and everything else and that Shish is the way forward. He needs a good bad woman as he's incapable of looking after himself (as his last one left him). Told him I knew someone like him in Kentshire.

Welded Trampoline legs yesterday with my new toy. It's a very good toy. Stick welded at 45 amps for fun and fun it was. Next up studs for wheel arch liners on Porker plus o/s door strap (internal) and Shorty's hair straighteners.

It's all go...
Coffee needed.

Too hot to sit in the sun on the patio already. We now have a pair of 🐿 attacking the bird feeders now.
Just finishing off second coffee then it will attempt a session on the board before it gets too hot. Later is the dentist.

Morning.

Rather warm here already. Going to be Scorchio! Two important meetings. One at Lunchtime. Grrrrr. Was hoping to slope off early as got everything to pack for trip to the Land of the Haggis. Might get home by 3pm if I'm lucky. Mad dash to pharma for last minute meds. Mad pack of stuff I think I'll need but never wear/use. Make sure I have meds and stoma supplies for 11 days etc etc etc.....

Mucho Coffeeo neededio firsto.

Forecasting to be pleasantly warm, low 20s rather than scorchio roon aboot here which means I shall be pottering about doing Stuff, before of course having the pm ice cream(s). And I have now discovered the Aldi version of almond Magnums, look the same, taste the same, 40% of the price 😊

Morning Strivers and Skivers,

Was woken up shortly after 1am with a dose of cramp in my right foot, I put it down to said foot being rather heavy going round those race circuits yesterday 🏎️ Mrs. 666 was slightly unsympathetic. Nice warm pedal into town and will be a scorcher on the return leg. Got a few meetings and a spot of tax mitigation in between. I'll add the standard 'but for now, coffee...'

Another day of driving about, moving stuff from A to B, and generally wasting the day. More of the same tomorrow.

Any opinions on whether a crank power meter (SRM) is a better/worse option than pedal based ones? Tempted to buy an SRM for good price, rather than pay a lot more for new pedal Favero or similar one. Not fussed about swapping between bikes too much as only really the one roadie that gets used these days.
