I find with my metal frames only I get a bit of creak from the bottom brackets. Instead of the general white grease could copper grease be used or maybe better Ti Prep?
Or maybe it needs plumbers white tape around the BB threads?

I've always used plumbers tape. (PTFE) instead of grease. You only need a tiny amount.

You sure the cups are tight enough ?

I’m not TBH both bikes are BSA threaded. I have the basic tool you use by hand. I’ve seen the cup ones that you can fit to a torque wrench.
I’m a metal bike fan but they creak more than carbon.

What sort of BB - hollowtech, or older cartridge square taper. You just do em tight with the 'tool' on a big adjustable. They only creak if not tight. I do use coppaslip as I don't touch mine once fitted.

Hollowtech. Drive side should be tighter. I’ll try tightening up first before taping.

Don’t use grease on plastic BB threads, the grease can cause the plastic to swell.

I need a remover as my cheap one just slipped. It’s tight but just cleaned inside for now. I have 2 brand new BB’s spare ready also.

A counter point,, I'm also a metal bike fan and try to exclusively use BSA threaded shells for serviceability and compatibility reasons, you shouldn't be getting any creaking from HT2, one of the nice features if you will of a threaded BSA BB shell is that precession will tighten the cups up if they are loose.

It's worth getting a Park Tool HT2 tool - I have a BBT-29 - which works really well, although the road shells are narrower and will need the plastic adapter you get with them. I don't put any grease - copperslip or otherwise - on at all, if refitting a pair of cups I will put some blue loctite on - I have one of the wax lipstick things, which I also use on any bolts and threads. Using the tool I tighten it up reasonably tight, but don't use a torque wrench on it. Tighten it with the bike on the ground rather than in a stand.

I’ve ordered that BB60 Shimano tool.
I cleaned around the area and front mech & the noise is far less now. It could be something else.
Changed pedals so not that, had bottle holders off so not that. There is a washer missing on the crank bolt though I noticed.
