He needs to stop going to the pub, so he can't agree to do daft things...

There are so many things you could say that about though. Is everyone supposed to stop living/risking anything the moment they have children?

One of my all-time favourite films: http://www.manonwire.com/

As someone who gets dizzy standing on a thick carpet, the trailer on the web site was enough to dissuade me from hiring/buying the DVD. Hats off to the funambulists who do the high stuff. I really don't know what spurs some of them to do it without harnesses safety nets or parachutes.

Classic33, you are saying this to someone who was driven in a coach with 32 other 8 year olds from a small school near Leeds to see onto The Forth Road Bridge when it first opened... the same school who had a trip, on an old double decker bus, down the newly opened M1 to visit the new Woolley Edge Services.
Life doesn't get more exciting than that...

Where would the fun or the challenge lay in walking across a bridge!

Having worked at Woolley Edge for one weekend, I think I'm safe in saying there's not much there.
