I have a pretty large collection Gore, Perl Izumi, Rapha, Castelli, Q36.5 and they are all pretty nice. But I will tend to go for the Castelli or the Q36.5 if they are clean. The material is superior and so is the padding. Rapha is nice but not as nice as the other two brands, the patting is a little less comfortable and less refined but the material is very good. Gore is ok but not great, the padding is small and ill designed and the material is nothing special, neither is the look. Perl Izumi is not great quality also, but they o look pretty cool. Honestly, taking everything into account I like the Castelli and the Q36.5 the most, they are comfy and the material is refined, especially with the Q36.5. The padding in the Q36.5 is surprisingly comfortable and the Castelli stuff has been well reviewed and I have to agree with others that it's great and you can shoot it quite cheap in sales too.
