I really think that the pictures published of the recent Oval incident should be used - with all parties permission, of course...

For me there was some solid shock there.....

Suggest you read a few of the earlier threads, in particular the one with the title "Incident near Oval tube ..." and the one with the title "Time for action"

I'm voting video with, poster as a close second.

I'm really against the idea of attaching cards to peoples bikes, why... well i live my life along the rule that "if something doesn't belong to you, don't touch it" and i apply this to the things i own to an obsessive degree.

i really don't want people attaching "anything" to my bike with tape, zip-tie or anything else and if i see anyone touching the bike I'm likely to break the finger they touched it with ;)

video would take a lot longer, a flyer/poster would be quicker, but then there are the printing costs after design

I'm not being defeatest but I'm not sure there is a practical solution to this problem.
Cyclists going stright across at a crossroads shouldn't be in the gutter on the left of two or three rows of vehicles , the inner lane of which is likely to turn left across the front of the cyclists going straight across.

If you are going straight across you should be in the box in front of the vehicles between the inner lane and second lane of vehicles.

I think this is a case of increasing cycling education and awareness training myself coupled with better signage at junctions both on the asphalt, at eye level and overhead.

Well, that's sort of the point we've been discussing in the other threads - how to educate people.

well my point was also about good signage which is the County Highways dept responsibility . I think they should take some responsibility for making roads safer for cyclists .
I go read through the previous thread and aquaint myself with the previous debate on this issue thanks;)
