Bike sorted for tonights commute, have given the brake blocks, chain and rims a wipe down.
Chain oiled, tyres pumped up, got some of the dirt off the frame but not much point doing more as it'll be filthy again later
All tools and stuff packed, batteries charged for the lights.
All set to go, just need to decide how many layers to wear now.

my chain was alarming rusty this morning, it really didn't want to go round while I oiling it
and the gears refused to change at all until sir gave the gear cable an encouraging yank
in hindsight a proper clean and oil pre crimbo might have been wise, the whole bike was/is rather filthy

P****** F****Think I`m gonna have to shoe horn those shwalbe marathon tyres on, clearance is tighter than a gnats chuff!
scrapped that idea mission impossible getting those bloody things on, looks like I`ll just have to risk it :s
