having swapped the "new" bike i got for one that fits (thanks night porter from the other forum  )

I was wondering is it time to leave the guards off?

I would leave them on. It's a wet winters day here up north.

Had a tentative look at taking mine off the hybrid, will do it tomorrow if the forecast is good for the week.
Raceblades on the other means they can come off as and when required.

I always leave mine on all the time. It's not like it doesn't rain in the summer is it?
