I haven't paid for a haircut since the mid 90's, and have no intention of starting now! My current hair clippers (Philishave C486) have served me well for over 10 years and although the clippers still work, the charging adapter has given up, and it seems that replacement chargers are not available (plenty of shaver leads available, but not for clippers).
Any other DIY barbers out there who can recommend a good set of clippers for around £50? Wahl seem to get a good reputation, and I like the look of these.

Wahl all the way - I have literally just replaced the blade (eBay) after 23 years of my wife clipping my bonce every 6 weeks or so. Cost me £19.99! New blade cost £7.00
