If I was stupid enough to take the car, probably half the time by bike.
Public Transport - bus, train, DLR - 45 minutes although I have waited 30 minutes for a bus
Cycle 1:10

For my round trip:

Bike - 1 hour
Car - between 40 mins to 1.5 hours depending on traffic
Motorbike - 40 mins (plus 20 minutes to change into leathers)
Bus - 1.5 to 2 hours (by far the most expensive, around £6 per day)
Train and walk - 2 hours (£2.60)
Train and folder - 1 hour
Walk - 3.5 hours

My default nowadays is by bicycle. I've driven to work only a handful of times this year.

Easily the fastest for me is by bike. I travel from SE London to Chancery Lane in London and as soon as I hit the Old Kent Road I'm passing motor traffic. The journey is just over 6 miles. By car it takes about 45 mins to an hour, by bus 1 hour or more, by bike 20-25 mins. Motorbike or moped may be quicker than the bike, however although they are a tad faster along the OKR (if the lights are against them though I catch 'em), they cannot sneak through the gaps in gridlocked traffic in central London as easily so get held up. Even when I run it I can get in faster than by bus, takes about 45-50 mins.

I think the only way I would beat the bike would be by helicopter

Getting to work by bike is c55mins

For the train, It takes a bit over an hour door to door.

Since taking the car would mean driving through Mitcham, Tooting & Clapham at rush hour, I've never done it, but I reckon 1h30 would be a reasonable estimate.

10 minutes by car 21 minutes by bike, just under 5 miles and no parking issues so the bike comute is just for pleasure and fitness really.

21 miles each way:

Car 35 minutes
Bike 1 hour 30 minutes
Bike and train 1 hour 50 minutes (5 miles cycle each end, but probably 50 mile train journey).

I do the train journey 4 times each week and the full bike journey once, normally Friday.

Would be much easier and quicker to drive, but when it comes to picking up car keys or bike gloves the gloves win every time, rain or shine.

Haven't driven since January and can't see when or why i would.

Quicker by bike.

Bus is around 50 minutes to do the 10 miles to work, and up to around 1hr 10 mins on the way home.

I do it in around 35 mins going to work on quiet roads (usually between 30 - 35) and 30 mins on the way home in rush-hour traffic.

Kilburn to Vauxhall:

Bike - 40 mins
Tube - 40 mins
Bus - attempted once, something over an hour before getting dumped somewhere close to home as the driver had finished his shift (nice, thanks!)
Walk - never done whole route but Kilburn to Green Park was about 1hr 30/45 mins so probably about 2 and a bit hour walk.

I got totally shafted by the rain the other night. Got to Westminster and dumped the bike. Got a cab instead which took about half an hour.
