Slightly off topic I spotted a fully-camera'd cyclist this morning on Regent Street, London (would've been around 8:15-8:20). Had about 3 on him. Looked like something from a sci-fi movie. Any of you guys?
That would be sonofthewindsinc. An intresting character. Also known as the traffic droid.

First ride in in ages this morning; bout of nasty food poisoning has had me off the bike for nearly a fortnight. 't'was cold, but bright & sunny at least. Warming my soup at lunchtime I noticed that the wind was fairly whipping round the building and now I see that it's pretty much hosing it down with rain...

I was going to post about you softie southerners but decided not to as it might upset you ;)
It's super toastie warm up here in Newcastle. It got to at least 5c this morning - T-shirt weather.

What's this about "thin gloves"? I wore two pairs this morning and still felt like I had frost bite in my fingers by the time I arrived. At least it was dry, though an odd mix of frost, sun and intermittent fog.

According to wundermap it was -1 in Coventry this morning when I put the computer on at 6am, when I went out to work at 7:15am it was like a January morning, frost on the cars and frost on the grass, I'm still wearing a winter cycle jacket when I should be wearing a summer one.

Had a squiz at some of his vids, some entertaining stuff there!

Going back to the original topic a mild aura of shame hangs over my head since I tubed it today. Not usually such a fairweather, especially when the rain's only moderate; no showers at current work so it's either the choice of 'drowned rat' (t-shirt) or 'sweatmeister' (not very breathable rain jacket).

Still, good couple of runs up stairs and I rarely get scalped whilst walking (despite being a mere 5ft 5) ;-)

At the start of Sundays ride it was numb fingers drizzling. The graupel (snow pellets) at Hamsterley Forest and then Barnard Castle made for an interesting contrast to a sun.
filled day.

Own up. Who already knew what graupel was?
