One of the many benefits of a water bed is not having to do that!

But surely you can take the water out and put it back in again to plump it up a bit...

How do you keep your duvet clean? Do you have a sheet between you and the duvet?
I don't bother keeping it clean. It's covered in tea and food stains.:laugh: When it gets too filthy i'll bin it and get another one. False economy and all that,but i was a carer at an old folks home for 4 years. Every Monday we had to change about 30 duvet covers.:ohmy: When i left i promised myself no more duvet cover changing and i've kept my promise.:okay:

Yes. Tea and food aren't dirty,just slightly unsightly,and seeing as no one but me sees them it isn't a problem.:smile:

Actually,come to think of it i do have a duvet with a cover on. It was given to my by a friend. It was her son's. It has a Thomas The Tank Engine cover on it. That's not a problem,but it does smell a bit moth ball(ish):unsure:

Nah, i don't buy it...:boxing::laugh:
My wife and I share the housework every single day, she does downstairs, i do upstairs, every morning after I've walked the dog and we've had tea and toast Both of us are done in half an hour, beds made (not changed) bathroom cleaned out, dusted and hovered (and I have to feed the dog) Downstairs my wife will put any odd pots put in the dishwasher, tidy, dust and hoover.
It's a piece of cake...in fact I've told her on odd occasions when I'm off for the day and do the whole lot....meh, i don't know what all the fuss is about, telling me how hard it all is :dry::giggle:

TBF, bed changing, particually the duvet, isnt easy but it' s not beyond the wit of man either :thumbsup:

(Just for a balanced view :okay:)

This thread reminds me, I need to find a duvet cover with badgers on it. Two year old is very excited to be getting her own duvet...

I lived on my own in my 20s . Wash cook clean iron shopping tidying up as well as holding down a 60 plus hour a week Job over6 days a week . It’s not difficult . Which is why it winds the feck out of me when wifey moans and only works 3 days a week and can’t keep a clean house which means I spend my weekends doing all of the above ..
