Just listened to the original radio version, speechless.

I bet silent radio died a death with the advent of silent movies.

Watched THE BBC Wales production of Under Milk wood. Brilliant. Just listened to the original radio version, speechless.

Came to a bad end; very enjoyable

Parlez vous jig a jig mademoiselle?

Kissed her when she wasn't looking, but he never kissed her again though she was looking all the time.

Must have listened to it a dozen times or more and a couple of theatre productions. Fantastic stuff

It was good. But Under Milk Wood was never of course intended to be visual, in my opinion it only works in the spoken word.

You really need to hear the original recordings by the man himself.
I believe they are on youtube.

A visit to the Boat House in Laugharne is worth it if you are down this way, the original recordings are played in the rooms, which really moves you if you've not heard them before.

Are poets really the best people to perform their own work. Playwrights always prefer actors and composers quite like it when musicians play their stuff.
Most poets reading "some of me poetry" do drone on.
