One of the many reasons why I only wear black shorts.

I now have to confess that I recently retired a pair of longs with the same problem. Fortunately as a recumbent rider the only animals frightened by my riding in them were small enough to be under the 4" clearance of my trikes. And the horses, but they're frightened of recumbents anyway!

Last week I was overtaken by a guy in full white world champion kit. As he zoomed off up the road in front of me it looked like he'd shoved a pumpkin down his shorts. I'm guessing when they are that thin you get a tan through them.
