while we are on the subject , is it me or are all brompton owners really tall? I know there is probably an optical illusion to a certain extent but im sure the little wheels appeal to the taller rider.

Yes, they are all at least 6' 6", fit and do not break sweat whilst setting a respectable pace. Very annoying for us short arse, sweaty lycra clad brigade!

Yes, he was tall, slim built and pedals like mad didn't seems to tire him out he was pedalling furiously as I passed him on a high gear and glide passed him as I if I wasn't putting much effort. B)
