At about 5:10 through Rusholme, past Sainsburys and down Parrs wood road. On a black racing bike with full mud guards, not sure what sort.

I was trying to come past to help out, but there was no way I could get up enough speed ;). In the end I turned off on Fog Lane before you told me to f*** off and help out

You set a good pace though, was knackered when I got home.

That was you?

I've drafted shameslessly a couple f time this week on the way home into the wind after blasting in in the morninh and feelig a bit weary on the way home

When you;re puffing a bit to hold onto someone strong, passing and leading seems a bit too much like hard work, especially when they're doing so well on their own

I've dragged plenty of people alone this year so no guilt here

Doesn't sound like the bloke I was taking turns with t'other week - lost him when he started filtering through the traffic at the lights near Tescos.

You weren't drafting a lanky fella on a blue Giant recently, by any chance were you, therams?

No not me, this was the first time I have managed to keep pace with someone who looked like a "serious cyclist". I never understood how much easier it was to follow someone until this afternoon.

Keep looking over your shoulder!
