Every Friday (day off) I do a 36 miles ride. Same circuit and same time every Friday (boring I know). For the past 6 months I have met at least 30-40 other cyclists every time and almost all of them are the road bike/lyca variety. This morning 2 cyclists (1 MTB, 1 hybrid).

So where were you all this morning?
It was only rain and 17mph wind FFS. Carbon does not rust and it isn't light enough to blow away.

What will you do if you get the call you have been dreaming about....
"Hi I need a new lead-out man and I heard about you on CC"
"Ah, sorry Cav it's a bit windy this morning and the bike might get wet"

LOL!

Perhaps they're scared of braking in the wet with those carbon wheels!

I was out this morning. Lycra bibshorts (red DHB) and a yellow specialised top. Had to turn around after about 15 miles after massive cramp in my arse.
