...shite day.

As I have already named three things shite in 3 minutes on two different threads.

Clarkson's writing, Currie's Novel and the remake of The Wicker Man.

Beat that.

This morning I was woken by the sound of a cat projectile vomiting on the lounge carpet and once I'd rushed out of bed (stubbing my toe in the process) I found I had a lake of hen diarrhea to deal with, as being on antibiotics gives Anode the runs, in spectacular fashion. Then one of the nearby farmers has been muck-spreading on his land and the wind is blowing the aroma straight into Chateau Wafflycat.

So yes, today literally is a shite day.

Today was supposed to be a great day - my new bike was being delivered.

Got up at 7.30 hoping that he bike would arrive before 11am so I could get it set-up and be on the road before lunch. So, I sat diligently lining up tools, playing with locks and watching awful TV. 10am passes, 11am passes, get to 12 and I decided to check the website.Put me tracking number into the site and read the text... 9.10am attempted delivery, WTF! It's an absolute lie, i'd basically been sat by the front door all morning for some lazy sod delivery driver not to bother getting off his arse to find my house.

Phoned them up and the (admittedly) nice and helpful woman informed me that the driver had finished early (no wonder with all the time he saved not doing his bloody job) and had turned his phone off. So the next time I will get the chance to even speak about delivery is Tuesday and I work full time so I wont actually have the bike until next weekend by which time it will be September and I'll have missed the bank holiday.

I hate you parcelforce

Aw, that was a really sad story. (I wait for deliveries like I'm a 6 year old waiting for Father Christmas too.) Could you have them deliver it to work?

It's £5 if you want to change delivery address (I imagine they won't hold to this after the amount I am going to kick off). I also get the train to work so a 1.5m 18kg box (bike weighs 9kg so I'm not sure what the other 9kg are for) might be a tough one.

Crap. If we're not in Parcelforce always leaves a card and we can collect the parcel later that same day from the local Post Office.
