....one of those boring Sundays. Cleaned my bike this morning and now just sitting there, bored to tears. Can't go out because it is getting dark and don't like riding in the dark. My wife is watching some boring program on tv and I am watching boring snooker on bbc2. Can't wait to get back to work in the morning. I hate being bored.

I'm sitting doing nothing other than listening to Johnnie Walker's sounds of the 70's on Radio 2, and browsing CC..
Perhaps I'm easily entertained, but I quite enjoy time to do "nothing".
Work - well that I sometimes find boring and could happily do without it; funds allowing!

How about learning to play the guitar?

Teach yourself Dutch?

Do an online course in app development for Android?

Write your biography?

Go for a WALK in the dark?

Challenge a stranger online to a game of chess or backgammon?

And so on and so forth ...

If you are really bored, you could try memorising all the numbers in your local telephone directory - that should keep you busy for a while!

Yucky, windy, do nothing day today up here, but.
I have been busy all afternoon, chopping and stirring, made potato soup, beef stew (for later) and will be making a veg pasta dish.

I can't be bored in my own house - after decorating this morning I've caught up on two online courses, finished reading about the race to get a reliable method to measure longitude at sea and transcribed some deaths records for FreeBMD.

I wish I didn't have to go to work in the morning - that has the potential to be boring!
