More seriously ... I don't think that I have been bored since I got broadband and a PVR!
I always have a stock of TV recordings to fall back on. Besides that - the internet has everything you could possibly want to keep you occupied indoors.
With wifi permanently on and a tablet computer which can come out of sleep mode and be ready to use in 1 second, it isn't hard to keep busy and/or entertained, even during commercial breaks in programmes.
