Aw - I thought you were still touring when I saw those.

The only German I learned, travelling across the country 30 years ago. Absolutely essential. Needed no other German in 4-5 days. "Ein stuck bitte" - which means "One slice please". :smile:

You should have learned to count beyond one....

As for touring, I am still abroad and due to get back to Leeds at the weekend.

Top one is the one that would catch my eye, that looks delicious!
Yes, I'd choose that one ahead of the chocolate. I like something with a little tartness like lemon.

It seems to me that on the continent "nice" cakes and pastries are the norm, whereas here the norm is have have mass produced rubbish - often with pictures of cartoon characters on the top - and you have to go to specialist shops/cafes for anything made with a little care & attention.
