Born on the 4th of July was good, The Last Samurai was good and Eyes Wide Shut was good. I'm not fan though, most films he's done are poor. I don't mind at all about him being gay, I do find scientology offensive though.

Is he?

Tom Cruise is a little strange isn't he? There's something hidden, repressed even, about him I reckon; he seems always to be acting even when he's supposedly being himself.

I reckon he's messed up Nicole Kidman too, unless she's always been a bit neurotic! However, Penelope Cruise seems to have weathered the test and seems to bear no ill will or grudges.

Always thought his first wife's comments on the breakup of their marriage was quite good..

'Well, here's the real story. Tom was seriously thinking of becoming a monk. At least for that period of time, it looked as though marriage wouldn't fit into his overall spiritual need. And he thought he had to be celibate to maintain the purity of his instrument." Drily, she added: "My instrument needed tuning'.

Bronson Pinchot has been best known for his role as Balki on the sitcom "Perfect Strangers" and his role in the "Beverly Hills Cop" movies, until now.

On working with Tom Cruise in "Risky Business":
We thought Tom [Cruise] was the biggest bore on the face of the Earth... He was tense and made constant, constant unrelated homophobic comments, like, "You want some ice cream, in case there are no gay people there?" I mean, his lingo was larded with the most... There was no basis for it. It was like, "It's a nice day, I'm glad there are no gay people standing here." Very, very strange.

Years and years later when people started to torment him with that, I used to think "God, that's really fitting, because he tormented a lot of people as a 20-year-old."
